Mark w. Fuhrman, President is a 1977 graduate of Tennessee Tech with a degree in Plant and Soil Science. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in landscape planting, grading and soil preparation, construction, stack stone walls, water feature design and installation, garden railroading, and irrigation. Mark gives amazing attention to details and is personally involved in the implementation of every job. You can always count on him to provide the very best quality plant materials and the most professional installation available in the area at the most reasonable prices.
Mark grew up driving a tractor during the summers on his Uncle's dairy farm in Eastern Ohio. He lived in Nashville and graduated from Antioch High School. After his graduation from Tennessee Tech in 1977 he moved to Clinton where he continues to live today with his wife, Judy and their 21 year old son, Jordon (a junior this year at UT.) Mark is a garden railroad hobbyist, spending much of his spare time constructing scale model buildings based on local architecture during the logging days in the Smoky Mountains; specifically around the Little River Railroad which was based in Townsend, Tennessee. Mark often volunteers at the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge, helping to maintain the garden railroad area and running g-scale model trains on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Mark is also an avid hiker and has completed most all the hiking trails within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Jeanne Tarver Lane, Vice President / Landscape Designer and Estimator, is a 1979 graduate of the UT Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design program on the University of Tennessee Agriculture campus. With extensive knowledge of plant materials and their availability and a passion for creating outdoor living spaces, Jeanne can help you make your dream landscape a reality!!
Jeanne, originally from the Atlanta area, moved to Knoxville in 1973 and began school at UT in the fall of 1974. She has two grown children, Sean Tarver and Tiffany Tarver Emitt, both residing in Knoxville. Jeanne and her Mother, Helen Rogers enjoy the farm life in Lenoir City, complete with chicken, horses, and dogs. Jeanne's interests include gardening, horseback riding / trail riding; trail maintenance in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, youth sponsorship at her church, and...of course...landscape design.

Tiffany Emitt, Office Manager Tiffany is Jeanne's daughter and by all practical purposes, grew up in this landscape business. Today, Tiffany is the friendly voice that answers your calls and professionally handles the day to day administrative business at our Henson Road office.
